List building strategies

List building can be a slow and laborious task if you do not
use the correct strategies. For this reason you will need to prepare your
strategies well before you start to build your list.

Your first strategy will be to make a plan of action.

  • Set
    goals: Decide how many subscribers you will try to get in your first week
    or month.
  • Decide
    on strategies: What strategies will you use to reach your objectives. Make

  • Website promotions: the trick to
    make a large responsive list can be summed up in one word. Traffic! You
    just put a subscription box on your website pages and drive traffic to
    your website. Here are 3 powerful methods that you can use:
  • Article distribution: this is an
    easy way to drivetargeted
    traffic to your site and get a number of responsive subscribers.
  • Blogging: short articles with a
    link back to your website will bring interested visitors to your website.
  • Search engine submission: when
    you optimize your site you will be able to submit it to the search
    engines. This will give you high converting visitors who will be happy to
    join your list.
  • Free gift: this is an excellent
    incentive for people to sign up. To make this work be sure that your gift
    or gifts are of good quality and will be of great interest to your market
    and potential subscribers. Examples of good freebies are:

      popular , especially if you can write this yourself or have it written for
      you. Include a couple of links that will allow people to sign up to your

    them to join your list.
