1. The numero uno rule of the internet is content. Content is king and you must be able to come up with an interesting subject. Decide on what is your subject matter and in what form you plan to publish it. Come up with interesting forms or even make it sound like a dialogue between you and the audience.
2. You have to start making arrangements for recording the content once you are ready. If you are planning on making this a truly professional and high quality podcast think about a recording studio where you can get quiet and professional equipment.
3. Publishing your work is the next step when you are done recording. You will need to make this into a compatible format like MP3 for example. Make sure you listen to the podcast yourself and be sure that this is what you are planning to give to your audience.
4. Upload your podcast to any Podcasting service that are innumerable and easily available on the internet. Many of these hosts offer unlimited bandwidth and you can also have one RSS feed to further the proliferation of your podcast.
5. Advertise your podcast, after all how will people know about it?
Once you have obtained a good base of subscribers to your podcasts you can start to make a profit by offering them to various subscribers on a fee basis. You can also use podcasts to collect donations or getting corporate sponsors. You can also use this as a novel way of advertising and gain in the process.
