The Darkmoon Faire owned and operated by Silas Darkmoon and is an event that occurs within World of Warcraft on a somewhat haphazard schedule. When the Faire is on the way you will begin to see Barkers appear in the larger cities.
What you should hear when these Barkers come around is the “cha ching” of gold entering your bank account. It is at this time that prices on certain items skyrocket because they are needed for the repeatable quests offered at the Faire. Each of these quests offers a number of Faire tickets for the turn in of certain items. The tickets may be exchanged at the Faire for rare items
The Repeatable Quests
Gather Animal Parts - The items include small furry paw, torn bear pelt, soft bushy tail, vibrant plume, evil bat eye, and glowing scorpid blood.
Blacksmithing - Items for these quests include coarse weightstone, heavy grinding stone, green iron bracers, big black mace, and dense grinding stone.
Engineering - The items needed include copper modulator, whirring bronze gizmo, green firework, mechanical repair kit, and thorium widget.
Leatherworking - These items include embossed leather boots, toughened leather armor, barbaric harness, turtle scale leggings, and rugged armor kits.
