Three Major Types Of Membership Business That You Should Know
Category: BusinessYou may ask “Is this type of make money online model needs me put in a lot of work?”
Well, the answer is depend. How much amount of work you need to put in will depend on the type of membership site you have. There are basically three major types you can choose from, they are traditional, fixed term, and newsletter.
1. A Traditional Membership Site
This type site quite popular. A person becomes a member by paying a reoccurring fee and then they remain a member for as long as they want. This type of membership sites give them new content all the time, which are where the value stand (beside the money they pay for be a member).
The owners of the site need to put more time and energy into the work because they have to provide the value to their subscribers. And, operating a traditional membership site can be the most profitable and it is also the most work needed to maintain.
2. The Fixed Term Site
It is when a member joins a site for just a specified amount of time. They might join a site for a year long (52 weeks) lesson on how to make money from the Internet by working from home. Or, they might pay once, or pay every week, every other week, or maybe every month. Once the 52nd lesson gets delivered then they are no longer getting charged a membership fee and they stop getting the content.
Fixed term sites are often the least time consuming to operate. You get initiative work done by creating the site, getting it up and running, and then creating the content. Once all that done and then you have to focus on your marketing and market your site. However, every member you have will only pay for a specified amount of money within a specified period of time. You can't count on one person being a member far into the future.
3. The Newsletter Membership Site (also known as an autoresponder type)
This can be either fixed or traditional type of sites. With it, you simply deliver all the content via email, which means you can send the content every week, month, or whenever you promised it would be. Then the members will just open their emails and click on the link you provide for them.
Compare these three different type of membership sites, the newsletter type one obviously is faster in content delivery, it is also an easy to set-up. You don't need to worry about a site with a member's area or anything. All you have to do is set-up the site with a sales page, a thank you page, and a reliable autoresponder. Then load the content into it and you're done.
As you read you know – all three of these membership sites have the pros and cons. Choose the one that can best fits you need, your niche, your topic and then start to market your site. In no time you will be making money.
