A Graphic designer may use any of the three techniques to reach his / her goals which are namely TYPOGRAPHY, PAGE LAYOUT AND VISUAL ARTS.

Although Graphics Design dates back to ancient ages but as a discipline it is a recent history in mankind with Williams Addison Dwiggins first using the term in 1922. Its history dates back from LASCAUX caves to Illuminated Manuscripts of the Middle-Ages. With newer technologies the Graphics Designing Techniques have become refined and its start was marked by invention of the Printing Machine in 1450 by John Gutenberg.
Modern graphics designing takes place with the help of the computers and it’s numerous of software dedicated to this purpose. Today’s computers create an environment of virtual reality wherein designers can check their designs and test them according to real life conditions before finalizing their designs and imparting them onto something.

• Then comes the marketing strategy which starts with optimum usage of one’s business card and mailer postcards.
• Then one has to chart out the ways to approach the clients and clients can be nailed.
• Following strict marketing strategies but also needs to be flexible at the same time regarding market conditions and client demand trends.

One opting for Freelance career option in the field of Graphic design needs to be persistence. It has lot of opportunity and very high job satisfaction but it needs a lot of patience and perseverance.
